Insight: Tattoos = Pain. Most who go through the ordeal of getting one can handle it. But that pain doesn’t end when the tattoo is done. If you don’t protect your art, you can seriously damage your tattoo and all the money you invested will go to waste. Nothing hurts as much as a badly healed tattoo and SecondSkin Aftercare wants to ensure you never have to feel that pain.   

Solution: By showing what happens to tattoos when they aren’t taken care of, we want to show the importance of preserving your art and keeping it Fresh, Forever.

Sun Billboard

The billboard will be used with paper, making it susceptible to sun damage. As time passes, the exposure will “ruin” the billboard to show what can happen to a tattoo when it’s not protected correctly.

Ink Master Collaboration

Ink Master is a reality competition show where tattoo artists complete challenges related to tattooing and create tattoos on willing customers to be judged.

SecondSkin would partner with Ink Master on one of the daily challenges and have the artists go to parts of NYC where street art/murals are faded and worn. They will then use their artistry to revive the pieces of art to how they originally looked when they were first created.

This will prove challenging and further cement the message that artwork needs to be protected, out in the world or on your skin. SecondSkin is the best method to prevent damage to your body artwork.
