The Criterion Collection will partner with Alamo Drafthouse to host The Criterion Connection. In theaters across the country, the Criterion Collection will feature two movies that surprisingly connect. The first one will be widely known and popular while the second one fits more with the films people associate with The Criterion Collection. In the theater, each seat will have a coaster with one of the movies from the Criterion Connection Series. After the first movie, there will be an intermission where attendees are encouraged to match their coaster with the corresponding movie. Once they find their “match” they can walk together to the bar for a complimentary drink.
